Raghava Lawrence, actor and director of the three Tamil Kanchana films, has walked out of the Hindi remake of the second film in the series, Muni 2: Kanchana. Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani shot for the remake, titled Laxmmi Bomb, in a 10-day schedule in April. The Hindi remake is being produced by actor Tusshar Kapoor and costume designer-producer Shabina Khan. Creative differences are said to have cropped up between the two producers on the one hand and Raghava Lawrence on the other. Laxmmi Bomb, in which Akshay’s character is possessed by a transgender ghost, was to have marked the debut of Raghava as director in Bollywood.
