The Centurion University of Technology and Management conferred an honorary doctorate on Makkal Needhi Maiam president and actor-producer-director Kamal Haasan on 19th November in Bhubaneswar. The honour was given to the star for his contribution to cinema, culture and arts. Orissa chief minister Naveen Patnaik presided over the function.
