Dolby Laboratories and LA Cinema on April 21 announced the launch of Tamil Nadu’s first Dolby Cinema in Thiruverumbur, Trichy. This is the fourth Dolby Cinema in India. The Trichy cinema will open to the public on April 24. Michael (English) will release at this cinema in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
Located within LA Cinema’s latest property in Thiruverumbur, Trichy, Dolby Cinema has been purpose-built to deliver Dolby’s most advanced and immersive movie-going experience. Besides offering a premium movie experience, the cinema also gives the signature Dolby Cinema design, featuring a wall-to-wall-to-ceiling curved screen, precision-engineered acoustics, and distraction-free architecture.
