Emraan Hashmi has been signed for the Hindi remake of Malayalam horror film Ezra. The original had starred Prithviraj. The remake is being produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak and directed by Jay Krishnan who had also directed the original. The female lead is being finalised. It will be shot in Bombay and Mauritius.
