The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Bombay police has filed an FIR against Yash Raj Films and its directors for pocketing royalties amounting to Rs. 100 crore belonging to members of the Indian Performing Rights Society (IPRS). The IPRS lodged a complaint against YRF. Meanwhile, music directors Salim-Sulaiman have revealed that they haven’t worked with YRF in the past four years because it hasn’t paid them royalties despite having collected them on their behalf. According to the music director duo, T-Series also hasn’t paid artistes their royalties.
