After Bond film No Time To Die, it is the turn of Universal Pictures to postpone the release of its franchise film, Fast & Furious 9. The Fast film has been postponed by more than 10 months. Instead of 22nd May this year, it will now release on 2nd April, 2021.
This leaves the Eid week open for Salman Khan’s Radhe and Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb — of course, that is, if the two films make it to the cinemas, as scheduled.
Release schedules have all gone haywire, not just of Hollywood films but also of Bollywood films because of the outbreak of the coronavirus in several countries.
