FILM CITY REDEVELOPMENT FEE SLASHED BY 85% | 7 February, 2020

In a move to attract bidders for the redevelopment of 211 acres of land of Film City in Bombay, the state government has slashed the initial annual fee by 85%, to just Rs. 20 crore. The fee was originally Rs. 128.5 crore. The government has also added a revenue share clause for the right to develop the land over a 40-year period.
