On behalf of the more than 5 lakh workers and technicians of the media and entertainment industry in Maharashtra, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has expressed deep gratitude to the All India Film Employees Confederation (AIFEC), Amitabh Bachchan, Kalyan Jewellers and Sony Entertainment Television who came forward to provide aid for the COVID-19 Relief Fund in the form of 1,00,000 coupons of Big Bazaar, worth Rs. 1,500 each, amounting to Rs. 15 crore for the daily wage workers of the media and entertainment industry all over India. The FWICE has also thanked Unnikrishnan, general secretary of the AIFEC, and Ashok Dube, president of the AIFEC, for issuing 35,000 of those Big Bazaar coupons, worth Rs. 5.25 crore, for the members in Maharashtra, affiliated to the FWICE.
