HC ASKS SHILPA SHETTY, HUSBAND TO DEPOSIT RS. 60 CRORE FOR L.O.C. SUSPENSION | 12 December, 2025

The Bombay high court on December 10 orally asked actress Shilpa Shetty and her businessman-husband, Raj Kundra, to deposit Rs. 60 crore or produce a bank guarantee from a nationalised bank of the said amount for the suspension of the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against them in a cheating case. This request was made to allow them to visit Raj’s ailing father in London.

A division bench of Justices A.S. Gadkari and R.R. Bhonsale was hearing their plea for interim relief against the LOC as it restricted their travel abroad. The couple wants to travel at the earliest, until January 20, 2026.
