Actor Imran Khan, who was served with a ‘Leave India’ notice by the Foreigners Regional Registration Officer (FRRO) on October 14, four days after he was present at a protest in Bombay over the SIR of electoral rolls, is expected to petition the Bombay high court today (October 17).
Imran is likely to move the high court as the notice has given him till October 28 to leave India. The said notice refers to the 43-year-old actor as a foreigner, but is silent on his OCI status. It also does not mention whether he was given any prior hearing or detailed reasons for the action taken against him.
