The Tamil Nadu cyber crime wing has detained two persons, including the alleged mastermind, in connection with the leakage and online circulation of unreleased footage from Tamil film Jana Nayagan, the upcoming film starring superstar Vijay. The action follows a complaint filed by the film’s producers, KVN Productions, who alleged that confidential footage had been illegally accessed, copied and shared online, causing huge financial losses.
With the latest two arrests, the total number of people arrested in the case has gone up tp 19. The previously arrested 19 people were remanded to Puzhal prison in Madras.
