BJP’s Rampur (U.P.) candidate Jaya Prada was on 9th April caught on camera giving money to a newborn after taking the child in her lap during her poll camÂpaign in Shahbad. The Rampur district magistrate has taken note of the video footage and referred the matter to the flyÂing squad team appointed under the Election Commission’s directives to examine such cases and take necessary action. A case was registered against the star-MP for violating the model code of conduct. Jaya Prada also reportedly offered chocolates to children.
