Singer Kanika Kapoor, who was discharged from hospital on 5th April, following her recovery from COVID-19, will be interrogated by the Lucknow police after the lockdown. An FIR had been lodged against her on 20th March by the chief medical officer (CMO), UP, for negligence.
It may be recalled that Kanika returned to India from London last month, reached Bombay and then proceeded to her home town, Lucknow, where she attended some parties and even hosted one without caring to self-quarantine as per government advisories for persons coming from foreign travel. She tested positive for coronavirus on 20th March.
