A 33-year-old woman-choreographer has lodged a complaint with the National Commission for Women and with the Amboli (Bombay) police against choreographer Ganesh Acharya. She has alleged that Ganesh made her watch porn videos whenever she visited his office. She has also said that Acharya and two women assaulted and abused her on 26th January at a function of the Indian Film And Television Choreographers Association (IFTCA) of which he is the secretary. Ganesh Acharya, who denied the allegations, filed a cross-complaint later.
The lady-choreographer also claimed that Acharya demanded Rs. 500 from her for every work assignment.
