MAN HELD FOR KAPIL SHARMA CAFE SHOOTINGS | 29 November, 2025

The Delhi crime branch has arrested a man wanted by the Canadian police in connection with the recent shootings at stand-up comic and actor Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe in Surrey, Canada. The 28-year-old Bandhu Maan Singh Sekhon, arrested from Ludhiana on the night of November 24, is close to gangster Goldy Dhillon.

Sekhon had allegedly escaped from Canada to India to lie low. During investigations, he revealed details about the two shooters — Daljot Rehal and Gurjot. The two filmed the act using body cameras and circulated the clip to amplify the impact.

Bandhu Sekhon was captured on a CCTV camera allegedly driving in a car with the shooters. Sources said that they had plans to kill Kapil Sharma if he did not pay them the extortion money.
