MUKESH MILLS MAY OPEN FOR SHOOTING AGAIN | 18 May, 2019

Mukesh Mills at Colaba in Bombay, where many films have been shot, may reopen for shootings. The mills area had been shut down last month by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation as the structures were found to be dilapidated and unsafe for shooting. The owners, TCI Industries Ltd., were asked to carry out a structural audit. The audit, carried out by Mahimtura Consultants Pvt. Ltd., claimed that only a handful of structures were dilapidated. The BMC has now asked the owners to first demolish the dangerous structures before it can permit film shootings.
