MULTIPLEXES, MALLS ALLOWED TO OPERATE 24 X 7 | 24 January, 2020

Multiplexes, malls and eateries in Bombay will be permitted to stay open throughout the day and night from 26th January. In a meeting called by Maharashtra tourism minister Aaditya Thackeray on 16th January, it was decided that establishments that are gated communities and in non-residential areas will be allowed to operate round the clock. However, establishments which serve liquor will have to adhere to the 1.30 a.m. deadline. The initiative will be rolled out on a pilot basis in non-residential areas like Nariman Point, Kala Ghoda and BKC.
