Payal Rohatgi, who was arrested on 15th December from Ahmedabad for her post against the Nehru family in October and lodged in the central jail at Bundi in Rajasthan, was granted bail by a local court at Bundi on 17th. She had been produced before the AJJM court which had sent her to jail till 24th December. She moved a bail application which was heard on 17th. The court of the additional district judge ordered her release on two bail bonds of Rs. 25,000 each.
Payal said, she had been made a victim of politics and was trapped in legalities.
