The Delhi police have denied permission for singer Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Delhi at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 30, citing specific threats and security concerns. Police sources said, the decision was taken in view of security requirements, and ongoing deployment commitments across the capital city.
Diljit had performed at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi in 2024. The police declined to comment when asked whether previous threats or disruptions at the singer’s concerts had influenced the present decision.
