Renowned lyricist and poet Kaifi Azmi was remembered on his 24th death anniversary on May 10 through the release of a special postal cover, along with cultural performances and literary events celebrating his legacy.
The postal department in Bombay released a special cover dedicated to Azmi. It was unveiled by Amitabh Singh, chief postmaster general for Maharashtra and Goa.
