RANVEER SINGH’S MANAGER GOT CALLS, NOTES FROM BISHNOI AIDE: F.I.R. | 21 February, 2026

Actor Ranveer Singh received multiple extortion calls from Harry Boxer, member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding Rs. 20 crore, says an FIR registered by the Bombay police crime branch. The offence was registered on February 17 after the Punjab and Haryana police verified that the voice belonged to Boxer, a Rajasthan native believed to be living in Canada.

Ranveer’s manager filed a police complaint that he received a couple of threat calls from an international number on February 10 and when he stopped taking the calls, the caller, who identified himself as Harry Boxer, left three voice notes demanding Rs. 20 crore. The calls came a week after the firing on producer-director Rohit Shetty’s residence at Juhu in Bombay. In the voice messages, Boxer warned Ranveer for ‘backing out after saying something’. The caller also said, he (Ranveer) and Rohit Shetty must ‘fall in line’.

Security around Ranveer’s residence was enhanced following the threats.
