‘RATNAKAR’ OVERTAKES PREVIOUS ASSAMESE BLOCKBUSTER BY HUGE MARGIN | 16 November, 2019

The Assamese film, Ratnakar, has netted a whopping Rs. 9.25 crore in five weeks. It had become the biggest Assamese blockbuster merely after two weeks of release when it netted Rs. 6.79 crore in 14 days. Before this, the record was held by Kanchanjangha which was released in September and which had collected Rs. 5.17 crore in 4 weeks. Ratnakar has netted Rs. 9.25 crore in 5 weeks and has surpassed Kanchanjangha by a huge margin.

The biggest non-Assamese blockbuster in Assam circuit is Bahubali 2: The Conclusion (Hindi dubbed) which had netted Rs. 5 crore.
