Shibashis Sarkar was re-elected president of The Film Producers Guild of India at its 72nd annual general meeting held today (22nd September) in Bombay at The Club. Manish Goswami, Madhu Bhojwani, Ankur Garg and Ashish Singh were re-elected vice presidents while Sushil Aggarwal and Hiren Gada were elected vice presidents. Ashim Samanta and Fazila Allana were re-elected treasurers.
The other members of the council of management are: Aamir Khan, Anil Kapoor, Ashutosh Gowariker, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, Pallab Bhattacharya, Rajan Shahi, Rajkumar Hirani, Ritesh Sidhwani, Sharad Patel, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Utpal Acharya, Vishesh Bhatt and Zoya Akhtar.
Amit Khanna, Kiran V. Shantaram, Manmohan Shetty, Mukesh Bhatt and Randhir Kapoor are the permanent members of the council of management. Kamal Kumar Barjatya and Ramesh Sippy are members emeritus.
