SRIDEVI’S WAX STATUE UNVEILED | 4 September, 2019

Sridevi’s wax statue was unveiled at Madame Tussaud’s Museum in Singapore this morning (4th September). The late actress’ husband, producer Boney Kapoor, as also daughters, Janhvi and Khushi, were present at the unveiling ceremony.

Sridevi’s contribution to cinema is tremendous. She had acted in over 300 films, starting out as a child actress at the age of four, and then graduating to playing lead roles. Not only did she act in cinema of all the four South languages but also reigned as the queen of Hindi cinema for a number of years. After a long hiatus, she had staged a successful comeback to Hindi cinema with English Vinglish. She had also played the title role in Mom before she passed away in Dubai in February 2018.
