Still photographer Nemai Ghosh passed away in Calcutta on 25th March. He was 86. He was an accomplished lensman but was also known for his proximity to Satyajit Ray. He was the official still photographer of Ray for close to 25 years till the latter passed away in 1992. He associated with the late veteran filmmaker for the first time on the sets of his Bengali film, Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne.
