The Bombay police crime branch arrested two employees of a production and distribution company for allegedly cheating Waseem Rizvi, producer of the recently released Ram Ki Janmabhoomi and also chairman of the Shia Central Waqf Board.
According to Rizvi, Trilok Kothari (55) and Rajesh Singh (56) of Sagar Productions promised to promote and distribute his film all over India. But when the film released on 29th March, 2019, it flopped due to lack of promotion, according to Waseem Rizvi. The phones of both the men were switched off when Rizvi tried contacting them after the film’s release.
