VIJAY’S UNRELEASED ‘JANA NAYAGAN’ LEAKS ONLINE, TVK BLAMES RIVALS | 11 April, 2026

A day after actor and TVK chief Vijay’s yet-to-be-released Tamil film Jana Nayagan was leaked online, the party blamed Union minister of state L. Murugan and Tamil Nadu’s deputy chief minister Udhayanidhi Stalin for the leak. The TVK general secretary alleged that Murugan, as Union I & B minister overseeing the CBFC, was responsible for the leak and that he acted in coordination with Udhayanidhi.

The film, directed by H. Vinoth and touted as the last film of Vijay, was caught in a long-drawn battle with the CBFC and is still awaiting a certificate.

The TVK spokesman said, the leak was intended to damage Vijay and inflict losses on him and the producers. Vijay is contesting the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

KVN Productions, producers of Jana Nayagan, have filed a complaint seeking forensic investigations and action against those behind the unauthorised circulation.

Actors Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi and Suriya have condemned the leak, calling it systemic failure.
