‘BISAAHEE’ REVIEW | 17 October, 2025

Released last week in Gujarat (1 week 2 shows in Ahmedabad 2,571/-), Piece Wing Production’s Bisaahee (UA) is the story of a vlogger who unearths a witch-hunting tradition in a village.

Stuti Mishra (Puja Agrawal) is a vlogger who travels to a village. She uncovers a terrifying witch-hunting tradition there. As she delves deeper, she realises that the practice is a sinister cover for the village sarpanch’s greed. Armed with her camera, she tries to gather as much evidence as she can in a bid to expose the truth and end the brutal tradition.

The story is below-average and so is the screenplay. Several portions of the drama are predictable and, therefore, the proceedings don’t have the surprise element. Dialogues barely pass muster.

Puja Agrawal is so-so as Stuti Mishra. Ravi Sah does a fair job as sarpanch Surendra. Ram Sujan Singh is average as Manohar. Indu Prasad hardly impresses as Asha. Raquib Arshad is ordinary as Dhumal. Chahna Patel is dull in the role of young Stuti. Others pass muster.

Abhinav Thakur’s direction is poor. Vishal-Akash’s music hardly adds anything to the drama. Navdeep Panchal Shubh’s lyrics are dull. Abhilekh Lal’s background music is not up to the mark. Parvez Pathan’s camerawork is not impressive. Art direction (by Ram Singh Patel, Arpit Pandey and Shatrughan Kumar) is functional. Sanjay Sankla’s editing is okay.

On the whole, Bisaahee is a flop show.
