Boo Filmz’s Marrne Bhi Do Yaaron (UA) is designed as a comedy.
Rajkiran (Rishaab Chauhaan) wants to go to Greece to make big and quick money. Since his father (Kiran Kumar) can’t afford to send him to Greece, he sells off his general and provision store. Rajkiran can’t make it big in Greece and so he wants to end his life. Giving him different ideas about how to commit suicide is Anita (Kashmera Shah). Samay (Krushna Abhishek) plays Time and he narrates the drama.
Kashmera Shah’s story is silly — and that’s putting it mildly. Her screenplay is slightly better, and that’s because it affords some light moments. The futility of the script hits the audience once the film ends. Kashmera Shah’s dialogues are better than her story and screenplay.
Krushna Abhishek acts ably, raising laughter along the way. Although his character is weird, his acting is good. He also dances gracefully. Kashmera Shah performs quite well as Anita. Rishaab Chauhaan is alright as Rajkiran. Kiran Kumar lends fair support as Rajkiran’s father. Rajesh Puri makes a mark as the hotel owner. Kishwer Merchant and the rest provide routine support.
Kashmera Shah’s direction fails to cut ice with the audience. Rajendra Shivv’s music comprises one well-tuned song and other average numbers. His background music is commonplace. Lyrics (Ravi Chopra, Asad Ajmeri, Piyush Aditya and Nitin Gaikar) are appealing. Lollypop’s choreography is quite eye-filling. Neelabh Kaul’s cinematography is nice. Sandeep Kurup’s editing is okay.
On the whole, Marrne Bhi Do Yaaron will live up to its title as it will have to fend for itself, with the public giving it the cold shoulder. Flop.
