‘OPERATION LONDON CAFE’ (DUBBED) REVIEW | 6 February, 2026

Deepak Rane Films and Indian Film Factory’s Operation London Cafe (dubbed from the Kannda film of the name; UA) is a story about Naxalites. Keshav (Kaveesh Shetty) is brutally attacked. His past then comes to the fore. In a village, Bhavya (Megha Shetty) is rescued by Keshav and she slowly but surely begins to fall in love with him. Simultaneously, the police and army tighten their net around the Naxals. It later comes to light that Keshav was an army officer before he joined the Naxalites.

Kaveesh Shetty’s story lacks novelty and is not even interesting. Sadagara Raghavendra’s screenplay treads the beaten path. The drama, therefore, fails to entertain. Rather, the predictability makes it deteriorate even further. Dialogues are routine.

Kaveesh Shetty is so-so as Keshav. Megha Shetty is fair as Bhavya. Shivani Surve lends average support. Virat Madake is ordinary. Ashwini Chavare is alright. Arjun Kapikad passes muster. B. Suresh leaves a mark. Krishna Hebbale makes his presence felt. Arun Sovi and the others are passable.

Sadagara Raghavendra’s direction is dull. Pranshu Jha’s music is far from entertaining. Lyrics are functional. Choreography (by Sadagara Raghavendra) is routine. Pranshu Jha’s background music is ordinary. R.D. Nagarjun’s camerawork is quite nice. Action and stunt scenes (choreographed by Mass Madha, Vikram Mor and Arjun Raj) are nice. Varadaraj Kamath’s art direction is ordinary. K.M. Prakash’s editing is loose. Dubbing is fair.

On the whole, Operation London Cafe is a poor show.

Released on 6-2-’26 at Gem (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru Pickle Entertainment. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over. Opening was weak everywhere. …….The film was shot in Kannada and in Marathi. The Marathi version also released today.
