Seraphity Studios and 363 Trees Production’s Paro Pinaki Ki Kahani (A) is the love story of a Hindu boy and a Muslim girl.
Pinaki (Sanjay Bishnoi) is a sewer cleaner. He loves Mariyam (Eshita Singh) who sells vegetables. However, Mariyam’s father sells her as he is in need of money. Pinaki tries to rescue her from the man who has purchased her and who now ill-treats her. Does Pinaki succeed?
Rudra Jadon’s story offers no novelty whatsoever and is also dull and boring. His screenplay is so weak that the drama just doesn’t move ahead. Although the lovers get separated, the audience simply don’t feel any empathy for the two of them. The romance — or whatever little there is of it — is far from heartwarming. Emotions are conspicuous by their absence. Rudra Jadon’s dialogues are weak.
Sanjay Bishnoi does an average job as Pinaki. Eshita Singh is ordinary as Mariyam. Hanuman Soni is okay as Anwar. Dhananjay Sardeshpande is so-so as Aamir. Madan Deodhar hardly passes muster as Ramdas. Jagdish Laduram Motha is weak as Aanand. Sunny Jagdish Motha fails to impress as Shanta. Hemant Kadam is below the mark as Pinaki’s father. Others provide weak support.
Rudra Jadon’s direction is as poor as his script. Britto Khangchian’s music is appealing. Lyrics are okay. Abhay Balakwade’s camerawork is functional. Rudra Jadon and Aanand Prabhat’s editing leaves a lot to be desired.
On the whole, Paro Pinaki Ki Kahani is a flop fare.
