Nayyum Khan Entertainment’s The Return Of The Army Man (A) is the story of an army man’s revenge. An educated civilian is killed by the Ganges War Fighters. This sets Tiger, an army man, on a brutal path of revenge.
Babu Bhatt has written a story and screenplay which make the drama appear like any other revenge drama. In other words, the proceedings are of the kind seen in many other films. Therefore, the drama simply fails to engage the viewers. Babu Bhatt’s dialogues are commonplace.
Nayyum Khan is weak in the role of Tiger. Shalini Chouhan does an ordinary job as Shalini. Govind Namdev stands his own as Shankar Reddy. Manoj Joshi is fair as the Colonel. Prabhakar Bahubali is so-so as Kalke Shetty. Shahbaaz Khan passes muster as Shekhawat Reddy. Gyan Prakash lends routine support as the Collector. Lokesh Sharma, Amit Sharma, Monika Bagga, Harika, Aboli Bangale, Rupali Jadhav and Mukesh Bhatt provide ordinary support.
Babu Bhatt’s direction is below the mark. Sparsh Arora’s music is weak. Lyrics are not up to the mark. K.K. Sanjay’s choreography hardly deserves mention. Anamik Chouhan’s background music ought to have been better. B. Satish’s cinematography is passable. Iqbal Suleman’s action and stunt scenes are unexciting. Chandan Kumar Chourasia’s art direction is so-so. Ajay Varma’s editing leaves a lot to be desired.
On the whole, The Return Of The Army Man is a poor show all the way.
Released on 6-2-’26 at Glamour (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru August Entertainment. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over. Opening was dull everywhere.
