A team of Bombay police landed in Jamshedpur to trace the location of the person who allegedly sent a threat message for actor Salman Khan on the Bombay traffic police’s WhatsApp helpline, demanding Rs. 5 crore as ransom to settle the dispute with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The team, however, met with no success. According to sources, the location of the SIM card was constantly moving.
Meanwhile, the Bombay police on October 21 received an apology from the same mobile phone number which was used to send the earlier threat message. The threat message was received on October 17, after which the Worli police station in Bombay was alerted.
