LATEST POSITION | 27 December, 2025 ‘DHURANDHAR’ DWARFS OTHER HINDI FILMS, ‘AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH’ MANAGES GOOD COLLECTIONS

Christmas Eve on 24th December and Christmas festival on 25th gave a boost to box-office collections (of running films) on the last two days of the week gone by.
Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri opened to average houses on Thursday (December 25). Its opening was adversely affected by the unstoppable Dhurandhar wave.
Anaconda (dubbed and the original English versions) netted Rs. 1.25 crore on the first day (Thursday, December 25).

Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shadi bombed in the first week all over.

Avatar: Fire And Ash (dubbed and the original English versions) did very well in the first week, joining the Rs. 100-crore club in just 7 days. It opened to good houses on Friday (December 19), collecting Rs. 18 crore. Collections on Saturday rose to Rs. 22 crore, and further to Rs. 24 crore on Sunday. After a first weekend total of Rs. 64 crore, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 9 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 9.75 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 11.25 crore, Thursday – Rs. 14 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 44 crore, the first week closed at Rs. 108 crore.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 crashed in the second week. It could manage to collect only Rs. 1.35 crore in 2nd week, taking its grand total for 2 weeks to Rs. 12.35 crore.

Dhurandhar continued its record-smashing run in the third week too. After joining the Rs. 400-crore club in 2 weeks, it joined the Rs. 500-crore and Rs. 600-crore clubs in the third week. It started the third weekend with a take of Rs. 22 crore on Friday. Collections shot up to Rs. 32 crore on Saturday, and further to Rs. 36 crore on Sunday. After netting Rs. 90 crore in the third weekend, collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 17.50 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 18 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 19 crore, Thursday – Rs. 25.50 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was a super-extraordinary Rs. 80 crore. In this way, the third week closed at Rs. 170 crore. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 600 crore.

Zootopia 2 (animation; dubbed and the original English versions) collected Rs. 1 crore in the fourth weekend, and another Rs. 0.70 crore during the weekdays. Hence the fourth week closed at Rs. 1.70 crore. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 24 crore.

Asha (Marathi) failed to make any mark at the box-office in Maharashtra in its first week.

Uttar (Marathi) was steady at medium collections in 2nd week in entire Maharashtra.
