An email threatening to blow up the house of actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh in Ludhiana was sent to the Ludhiana municipal commissioner and other official government email addresses on May 25. The threat came days after shots were fired at his manager, Gurpartap Singh Kang’s house in Karnal. Diljit doesn’t live in the Ludhiana house.
The emial, received at 7.28 a.m., warned that Diljit’s house would be blown up at 9.11 p.m. The same email warned that the mayor’s office would be destroyed in a blast before that, at 1.11 p.m. The email added that those who helped Diljit would be targeted too. It was signed by ‘Khalistan National Army’.
