SALMAN KHAN TO SEEK INJUNCTION AGAINST ‘KALA HIRAN: THE BATTLE FOR LEGACY’ | 14 June, 2026

The Delhi high court on June 12 issued notices to the director and producer of Kala Hiran: The Battle For Legacy after actor Salman Khan filed a plea seeking a ban on it. A vacation bench of Justice Neena Bansal Krishna passed the order and stated that the case will be heard on June 19.

Earlier this month, Salman sent a legal notice to Amit Jani, the producer of the film. It is reported that Jani tore up the legal notice during an interview and posted on X that he was being threatened by Salman Khan and the underworld.

According to Salman’s legal team, the film’s poster, released on May 29, depicts a character bearing a striking physical resemblance to the actor and wearing a bracelet associated with him. The legal team said that the poster violated Salman’s personality rights and was defamatory, as Kala Hiran allegedly portrayed him as having links with the underworld.
