PRADEEP KASLIWAL DIES OF POST-COVID-19 COMPLICATIONS | 6 September, 2020

The coronavirus claimed one more life in the Hindi film industry yesterday (5th September). Veteran C.I. exhibitor Pradeep Kasliwal passed away in a hospital in Indore yesterday due to post-COVID-19 complications including heart problems. He was undergoing treatment for the coronavirus since more than a month and had recovered around ten days back. But he was still in hospital due to the other complications. Alongwith him, his wife and grand-daughter had also contracted the virus but, fortunately, they had recovered. Pradeep Kasliwal was 72. He owned Astha and Kastur cinemas of Indore. He devoted a lot of his time to social service and was connected with many charitable and social service organisations. The Kasliwal family is a respected family of Indore, and it was very common to see Pradeep Kasliwal at social functions, big and small. He had an amiable and endearing personality.

Pradeep Kasliwal is survived by his wife, elder brother, Ajit Kasliwal (owner of Smriti cinema, Indore), two sons, Aditya and Amit, and their families. The funeral will take place today (6th).
