The Goa police on 6th November registered a case against model and actor Milind Soman for promoting obscenity. Milind on 4th November, on the occasion of his 55th birthday, posted a picture of himself running nude on the beach in Goa to mark his special day. The photograph was shot by his wife, Ankita Konwar.
The case was registered against Milind Soman a day after Goa Suraksha Manch (GSM), a political outfit, lodged a complaint in this regard, he said. Milind Soman had shared his picture running naked on a beach, on his Instagram profile. He was booked under IPC section 294 (obscene act in public place) and section 67 of the Information Technology Act.
Just a day earlier, on 5th November, the Goa police had arrested Poonam Pandey and her husband for allegedly trespassing on government property and shooting an “objectionable” video at a dam in Canacona town.
