CINEMAS IN MADHYA PRADESH REOPEN | 13 July, 2021

Cinemas in Madhya Pradesh reopened today (13th July) with permission to operate at 50% occupancy. Furthermore, they have to shut down at 10 p.m. daily.

As is common knowledge, cinemas in the state were shut down in April when the second lockdown started following the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic. With cases of infection reducing, the Madhya Pradesh government has granted cinemas permission to reopen from today. Of course, since there is no software to play, most of the cinemas in the state remained shut today in spite of orders for reopening. Some cinemas are expected to reopen in a day or two. Many would restart operations from 20th July as Zee plans to release Radhe theatrically on the occasion of Eid. Multiplexes of the national multiplex chains (PVR, Inox, Cinepolis and Carnival) have decided not to release Radhe in their properties as it has already been premiered on OTT.
