A special NDPS court has allowed Arjun Rampal and his partner’s pleas for their phones and laptop, seized by the Narcotics Control Bureau in the drugs case linked to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, to be returned. The court observed that the investigating agency did not follow due procedure during the seizure of the said articles. The prosecution had objected to the return of the articles on the grounds that there was every likelihood that they would be used in the transactions of drug mafia and related businesses.
Agisilaos Demetriades, brother of Arjun’s partner, is an accused in the case.
