Many exhibitors in Maharashtra have suffered heavy losses due to destruction of their cinemas as a result of the floods in the last few days in Maharashtra. The Cinematograph Owners and Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI) will soon represent before the state government, seeking compensation for such exhibitors. It has asked all those cinema owners and exhibitors in the state, whose properties have been badly damaged, to inform the Association of the quantum of losses so that a proper representation can be made.
