Producer and media personality Pradeep Guha passed away today (21st August) at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital where he was battling with cancer of the liver. He had been diagnosed with fourth stage cancer and had been admitted to hospital three weeks back. The cancer spread fast and furiously because of which Guha could not be saved in spite of being under the care and vigilance of the best doctors. He had been put on ventilator yesterday (20th August). He was in his seventies and is survived by his wife and a son.
Pradeep Guha, who was affectionately called PG by those who knew him, had produced Fiza. He worked as the prsident of The Times Of India group. He then served as the CEO of Zee. In the end, he was the managing director of 9X Media.
