Telugu film director Puri Jagannath appeared at the Enforcement Directorate office in Hyderabad on 31st August in relation to the Tollywood drug case. The ED had last week summoned 10 members of the Telugu film industry as part of a money-laundering case linked to the drug case. Puri is reportedly being probed for financial transactions in the process of allegedly buying drugs.
Apart from Puri Jagannath, others who have been asked to appear before the ED between 31st August and 22nd September include Rakul Preet Singh, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja, Charmee Kaur, Navdeep and Mumaith Khan.
