Ananya Panday failed to appear before the Narcotics Control Bureau yesterday (October 25) for the third round of questioning in connection with her alleged WhatsApp chats with Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, who was arrested in the cruise drugs case on October 3. She reportedly sent the NCB a message, saying that she was unwell. She sought time to appear before it.
The NCB had interrogated Ananya twice last week and had carried out a search at her residence. It had seized her laptop and cell phone. It is believed that there are WhatsApp chats between Aryan and Ananya, discussing procurement and consumption of drugs. Of course, Ananya has denied allegations of supplying Aryan drugs.
