The Assam government has decided to grant half day’s leave to those government employees desirous of watching The Kashmir Files. All the employees need to do is submit the tickets of the film the following day.
A number of private companies across the country are also offering free tickets of the film to their employees. Discounts are being offered on products and services by many companies to those employees who watch the film based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from their own land in 1990 when insurgency started there.
