SINGER TARSAME ‘TAZ’ SINGH SAINI DEAD | 30 April, 2022

Singer Tarsame Singh Saini, popularly known as Taz from pop band Stereo Nation, passed away today after suffering a liver failure following which he slipped into a coma. He was 54. Taz was the lead singer of Stereo Nation.

He made many albums in the 1990s and his most popular album was Slave II Fusion (2000) which included hit songs like Nachange sari raat, Gallan goriyaan and Pyar ho gaya. Taz was called the pioneer of cross-cultural Asian fusion music. Taz also sang for Bollywood films. Among his film songs were Daroo vich pyar (Tum Bin) and It’s magic (Koi… Mil Gaya).

A few weeks back, the management team of Stereo Nation had shared Taz’s health update thus: “Dear All, Taz Sir is no longer in a coma. He’s showing improvements every day. The family has thanked everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time. When there is more positive news, the family will let us all know. Thanks again for your positive thoughts.”
