The Oshiwara (Bombay) police on June 13 filed an FIR against actor Karanvir Bohra and five others for allegedly cheating a 40-year-old lady of nearly Rs. 2 crore borrowed from her, after promising to return it with 2.5% interest. According to the police, Karanvir and the others repaid the complainant Rs. 1 crore which they had borrowed in 2019 but failed to return the balance.
Bohra and his family reportedly did not respond to the woman’s repeated telephone calls. A case has been registered against Karanvir Bohra.
