NAWAZUDDIN SIDDIQUI’S WIFE ACCUSED OF FINANCIAL FRAUD | 6 July, 2022

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife, Aaliya, is embroiled in a financial controversy relating to her first film as producer. It is Manju Garhwal, Aaliya’s friend and creative and co-producer of Aaliya’s film, Holy Cow, who has alleged that the actor’s wife is refusing to pay her Rs. 31 lakh which she had invested in the film. The two friends have now had a fallout, thanks to Aaliya’s refusal to come clean.

Manju filed a police complaint against Aaliya Siddiqui on June 20 at the Amboli police station at Andheri in Bombay. Manju has alleged that her father also invested in the film on the request of Aaliya, but he is yet to receive his money back.

According to the complainant, Aaliya had paid her Rs. 22 lakh but still owed her Rs. 31 lakh. She alleged that Aaliya was now refusing to give her (Manju Garhwal) credit as the creative and co-producer of Holy Cow. Prashant Gupta of Delhi, another co-producer of the film, has also alleged that neither is Aaliya returning his money nor showing him a timeline for the return of the money invested. According to him, she also seems to be dilly-dallying about giving his name as co-producer in spite of an agreement to that effect.
