Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today (7th November) announced a subsidy policy for films shot in the state. At the Destination Uttarakhand function attended by producers at Hotel Novotel in Juhu, Bombay, Dhami said that Hindi films shot in Uttarakhand would be entitled to a subsidy of Rs. 3 crore while regional language films would be eligible for a subsidy of Rs. 2 crore.
IMPPA president Abhay Sinha and senior vice president Sushama Shiromanee were honoured by Dhami at the same meeting.
