‘SPIDER-MAN’ OPENS HUGE, ‘PUSHPA’ TOO TAKES PHENOMENAL START

Spider-Man: No Way Home (original English and Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions) took an absolutely breathtaking start on Thursday (December 16), netting Rs. 32.67 crore on the first day. Its opening day’s total was three-and-a-half times the initial of the previous Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Far From Home. Shows as early as at 5 a.m. were house-full! This was the second-biggest opening ever for a Hollywood film in India. According to the Multiplex Association of India, the franchise film saw the second busiest advance ticket sales for any film in the history of cinema exhibition! The first day’s total in India ranked no. 1 in Asia, and fifth in the world.
